Ingredients
- 1 cup instant rice
- 1 cup canned black beans
- 1 cup cooked chicken
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the rice
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine instant rice with the appropriate amount of water according to package instructions. Microwave for 5 minutes.
2. Mix ingredients
Once the rice is cooked, add in canned black beans (drained), cooked chicken, salsa, and shredded cheese.
3. Heat the bowl
Place the bowl back in the microwave and heat for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is warmed through.
4. Stir and serve
Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients and serve hot.
