Ingredients
- 200 grams dark chocolate
- 100 grams coconut oil
- 150 milliliters maple syrup
- 100 grams flour (gluten-free optional)
- 50 grams cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 120 milliliters almond milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven and prepare ramekins
Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Grease four ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil
In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth, then remove from heat.
3. Mix wet ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the melted chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
5. Add dry ingredients
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
6. Pour batter into ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.
7. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
8. Cool slightly and serve
Allow the cakes to cool for 1-2 minutes, then carefully invert onto plates and serve warm.
